EOS Utility is an application that brings together all of the functionsrequired to communicate with the camera. Functions for downloading anddisplaying images, remote shooting, and camera control of each settingwhen an EOS DIGITAL camera is connected to a computer have beenintegrated. It is linked with DIGITAL Photo Professional, ZoomBrowserEX, ImageBrowser, Picture Style Editor, but the software has to be thelatest version.

- The function to select multiple images together has beenadded. A series of multiple images can be checked together in theviewerwindow when downloading images. If a user clicks the first image fordownload and then, clicks the last image while holding down the Shiftkey, the check boxes for those images will be displayed.

- Fixed a Remote Shooting problem (Problem in the Mac versiononly)The software fixes a problem in which the images are not transferred tothe PC in the Remote Live View function of EOS Utility when the RemoteLive View window is displayed and then closed, and that EOS Utilitydoes not respond afterwards even when releasing the shutter on thecamera.

- When double-clicking the Remove Live View window, it willswitch tothe Zoom View screen. When double-clicking the Zoom View screen, itwill switch to the Remote Live View window.

Additionalfunctions for the Remove Live View window
- The software adds a Maintain Zoom View check boxto the Zoom Viewscreen. By clicking this check box (On), even if remote shooting isperformed or the magnification of the camera is changed while the ZoomView screen is displayed, the Remote Live View window is not displayedon the previous screen, and the Zoom View screen is displayed on theprevious screen instead. (The setting for the check box is off bydefault)
